My check-in doesn't work
ShowUp only lets you check in when your location matches one of your registered gyms. Make sure location access is turned on for ShowUp and that the gym you're at is added in the app.
How do I add friends?
Every account has a unique ShowUp code. Share yours with a friend, or tap Add Friend on the Friends tab and enter theirs.
How do penalties work?
When you create a challenge, you can set a monetary penalty. If you fail the challenge, you owe that amount to your friend. Penalties are agreements between you and your friends: ShowUp doesn't process or collect any payments. More in the Terms.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account at any time in the app settings. This removes your profile, check-ins, friend connections, challenges and profile picture. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
