1. The service
FitFind analyses an outfit photo or a frame from a public TikTok or Instagram post, detects garments, and returns product-page links from visual search. Matches can be similar rather than identical. Prices, stock, colours, sizes, and availability are controlled by the shop and can be wrong, stale, or unavailable in your country.
FitFind is a search and discovery tool. It is not a shop, marketplace, fashion consultant, or licensed professional service. Purchases you make on a third-party site are solely between you and that seller.
2. Eligibility & account
You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country (in the EEA, generally 16 for digital consent, and 18 to buy without a parent or guardian). FitFind is not directed at children.
After the complimentary tryout, you need a FitFind account (Sign in with Apple or Google). Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can sign out or delete the account in the app. Deleting the account removes the FitFind login and Saves on that iPhone; it does not cancel an App Store subscription.
3. Complimentary tryout
New users may get one complimentary scan on a physical device. That tryout is limited with Apple DeviceCheck so it cannot be reused by deleting the app or making a new account. We may change or withdraw the tryout at any time.
4. Subscriptions
Paid access is sold as an auto-renewing App Store subscription:
- Yearly: 300 included credits per billing year.
- Monthly: 25 included credits per billing month.
Prices are shown in the App Store at checkout and vary by Apple ID country and tax. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (or Apple’s equivalent). Manage or cancel there — we cannot cancel an Apple subscription for you.
Restore Purchases reconnects an existing subscription on the same Apple ID. A subscription is tied to the Apple ID that bought it, not to iCloud document sync.
5. Credits
Credits are a meter for FitFind scans, not cash, not a stored-value wallet, and not transferable to another person or Apple ID.
- One credit is used for each photo scan or social-media scan that starts analysis.
- Included plan credits are granted at the start of each billing period. Unused included credits do not roll over when the period renews or the plan changes.
- Extra credit packs (currently 25, 100, or 300 credits) are one-time App Store purchases on top of an active subscription. Unused extra credits stay after renewal. Consumed packs cannot be restored.
- You need an active subscription to buy extra packs.
- Credits are tracked on our servers and follow your FitFind account across devices. Saves stay on the iPhone that created them.
If a paid scan fails before results are returned, FitFind typically returns that credit. Running out of credits does not end the subscription; you can wait for the next period, buy a pack, or cancel in iOS Settings.
6. When scans are wrong
Visual search is imperfect. FitFind may:
- miss a garment, split one item into two, or invent a piece;
- return a similar item, a different colourway, a different brand, or the wrong category;
- show a price, sale badge, or “sold out” state that does not match the live shop;
- open a broken, geo-blocked, or outdated product page;
- fail on blurry photos, screenshots, collages, heavy filters, or private social posts.
A “match” is a search suggestion, not a guarantee of identity, authenticity, legality of the listing, or fitness for a particular purpose. You must check the seller, size chart, return policy, and product before you buy. We are not liable for purchases you make from third-party shops, including counterfeit, misdescribed, or undelivered goods.
Optional in-app scan feedback (thumbs down plus a reason) may refund a credit, capped at a small number per billing period. Feedback refunds are a goodwill feature, not a statutory money-back right and not compensation for a bad shop purchase. They can change or be withdrawn.
7. Your photos & links
You may only scan photos and social links you have the right to use. Do not upload others’ images or private posts without permission. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the scan (including sending it to the analysis and search providers described in the Privacy Policy).
Do not use FitFind to infringe IP, scrape shops at scale, harass anyone, or break the law. We may suspend accounts that abuse credits, reverse engineer the service, or overload our providers.
8. Intellectual property
FitFind, the app design, and our trademarks remain ours. Product photos, brand names, and shop listings belong to their owners. Search results do not imply endorsement by those brands or shops.
9. Availability
FitFind depends on Apple, our backend, and third-party search and social providers. Features can be interrupted, rate-limited, or unavailable. We may change credit amounts, plans, or features; if a change is material, we will update these terms. We are not required to keep historical scan results or Saves after you delete them, delete the app, or delete your account.
10. Liability
We provide FitFind with reasonable care, but we do not warrant that matches are accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any purchase decision.
We do not exclude or limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law — including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, or liability under the German Product Liability Act. For slightly negligent breach of essential contractual duties, our liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. We are not liable for slightly negligent breach of non-essential duties, lost profits, or purely indirect loss from relying on a match.
If you use FitFind as a consumer in the EEA or UK, nothing in these terms takes away mandatory consumer rights, including any non-waivable rights about digital content. Paid digital services bought through Apple follow Apple’s refund rules; request those in the App Store / Report a Problem, not only by emailing us.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. The date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms, except where the law requires a different process.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live. The EU Commission’s ODR platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr; we are not obliged to take part in a dispute-resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
